I almost didn't use this image. I don't like my creepy "mean stare" at all. But I realize that I have little to no photos of Lila and I in them, AND I wanted to remember this moment. So you' ll have to deal with my crazy eyes.

I took this image to remember part of our little routine. I know it's going to change many times over, but this is one of my favorite parts of our day. Lila wakes up from her nap a bit cranky and demanding. Milk, Mickey Mouse, sit here, mama, it's sunny, snack please. So we sit on the couch like this, with her on my lap, and cuddle for a bit while she wakes up and improves her attitude. I wish we could do this every single day forever.

I took them all on time, but the chaos of the holidays just kept me from getting around to editing and posting them. I have to finish this project officially though!

For this week, I took this at our weekly playgroup, and I love how happy Lila is. She loves her friends, and their moms, and I think it's so wonderful. We're both incredibly lucky to have such a great group, I know they sure keep my sanity in check.
