The girl below may look a little familiar to some of you. She’s been on the blog before, as one of my favorite subjects to shoot. And now she’s getting married!

I just couldn’t pass up the chance to do some engagement photos for Sara & her fiance Justin, when we were up at Lake Winnepesauke a few weekends ago. Below are some of my faves from the evening.

DeAna and Philippe two were brave, brave souls to meet up with me outside in February. I think the temperature I saw on a billboard on my way into the city this cold Saturday morning said 25 degrees, without the windchill. Oh yes, you read that right! Good thing we conveniently picked a location that allowed us to run inside and warm up at any moment — Faneuil Hall. Another bonus to meeting there early on a Saturday morning? No crowds! I don’t think I’ve ever see it so empty there.

We first started inside the Marketplace, to kind of ease into the frigid temps and ice waiting for us outside. The vendors were just starting to turn on their ovens and stoves, and it smelled SO good in there. People were trickling in, looking for coffee and breakfast, but it was pretty quiet for such a normally bustling area.

And yes, we did certainly shoot outside for a bit! We just shot fast.

Another fave. Here you can see that Philippe is a FOOT taller than DeAna (she’s wearing those fabulous heels you see in the pic above too!).

Back Where It All Begins | Concord Engagement Photographer

Another gorgeous fall day in New England, a perfect setting to this recent engagement session. I met C & B up at the Old North Bridge in Concord, MA, to capture some late afternoon golden light. This area holds a lot of meaning to them, and made for the perfect setting to mark this new chapter in their lives.

We dodged the crowds of other people who also thought it was the perfect day for some leaf-peeping and visiting some historic landmarks, and had a blast doing so. I think I laughed through the entire session! This was no surprise to me, as C and I are good friends from my old job, and spent many hours cracking each other up.

Fall Love | MetroWest Engagement Photographer

My little brother and his fiancee are getting married next summer on the Cape, and they were over a couple of weekends ago to hang out. We don’t get to see each other nearly as much as we want to, with our crazy schedules the way that they are, so it was so awesome to see them.

While they were here, I dragged them out into our yard to take a couple quick engagement photos, while we still had the gorgeous fall colors. And luckily, we’ve been lazy about getting the yard cleaned up for the winter, so there were plenty of leaves around to provide a vibrant backdrop.

And, finally, my favorite. Again, I already posted this on Facebook as a sneak peek, I couldn’t wait until the blog post!

We can’t wait until the wedding next summer, it’s going to be SO FUN. Woooo!!
