It was a combo family/kids/maternity session, and so much fun! Our session was during what us photographers like to refer to as “the magic hour”–as in, the hour or two just before sunset, when everything is covered in this honey colored evening light. I LOVE shooting during this time, and highly recommend it for all of my clients! The soft, diffused light at this time of day is something I like to take full advantage of–we have even less of it up here in New England, so I have to jump on it while I can!

The “P” family is expecting baby #3 at the end of September, doesn’t mom look just radiant? I WISH I was this glowing when I was pregnant with Lila.

I love everyone’s expressions in this next one–I love capturing moments like this! The kids were cheering because we told them this was the last one, and they could go run around some more.
