A little taste of the attitude she’s developing. This is her yelling at me “noooo!!!!” when I told her to stop standing on the coffee table.
Oh, boy.

Oh, boy.

I totally love this.

Beach Baby.
She wasn’t nearly as afraid of the water as I thought she’d be!

Halfway! I know this is late – we were away last week, and I didn’t have a chance to post anything before we left. So this isn’t last week’s image, it’s for the week before.
She’s the cutest assistant I’ve ever had, that’s for sure!

SUCH a clown.

I definitely can’t top last week’s shot…not just yet anyway.
So I’m going for emotion this week. And embracing that grain.
Lila’s yelling at me here, to put her current favorite song/video back on.

I loved this perspective. She’s standing in the couch in the living room, watching some gigantic pine trees be cut down next door. (I don’t normally let her hang out inside by herself, I was only out there for like 5 minutes, and she stood in the window the whole time.)
I did get totally covered in sawdust, which was awesome. Tons of microscopic splinters when I brushed it all off.

Happy Friday!
Her first time in a pool.
From last weekend, but it was on Sunday, so it counts for this week! She was a little scared, but was getting used to it by the end of the weekend. I’m sure she’ll be a little waterbug before we know it.

Being the cheeseball that she is.
I can’t believe how lucky we are to have her.

Summer has finally arrived around here. Woo!
This image shows something I’ve always said I’d never do: let my kid wear crocs. Well, I am TOTALLY eating my words now. They are completely perfect for running around outside in the summertime: I don’t care if they get wet, or covered in sand, grass, dirt, mulch from the park, etc. And they’re just too cute on her.
