2014: Personal

I know I promised my personal favorites from 2014 a few days ago…I wanted to edit some of the more recent photos I hadn’t gotten to first. 🙂

In many ways, 2014 was a challenging year on a personal level. We had extended family health issues, our 3 year old was diagnosed with celiac disease, both kids started new schools, my husband left his long-time job and started at a new company – just quite a few larger life-moments than we were anticipating. I have a feeling that that’s life from here on out! All that said, we had a lot of fun – our annual Disney trip finally ended up in sunshine after 4 days of rain; other family vacations to the Cape & Berkshires; Lila’s first trip to Manhattan; more summer days at the pool than I can count. Overall, I’ll take it. And I’ll happily move in to 2015, ready for anything except my kids getting older. Someone needs to tell them to knock it off.
