Alyssa & Tommy

Alyssa and Tommy were married in June at Mass MoCA – the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. I was thrilled when they asked me to be their wedding photographer, and getting to shoot at such a unique location was just icing on the cake! Mass MoCA is way out in Western Mass in the Berkshires, near where I grew up. (Bonus: seeing friends and family while traveling for work! Yay!)

The museum is full of interesting contemporary art exhibits – Alyssa and Tommy were married in front of the Invisible Cities exhibit, and we did some post-ceremony photos in the Sanford Biggers exhibit. The museum staff was so very gracious in letting us through the exhibits after hours for photos, I was thrilled we were allowed!

Below are just a few of my favorites from Alyssa & Tommy’s day. Please feel free to leave comments or questions below too, I love hearing from you!

We met the bride and groom, along with their friends and family, while they were getting ready at The Orchards in Williamstown.

While I was hanging out with all the girls, my ever-lovely wedding photography partner slash amazing friend Sarah Phillips was over at the guys’ room while they were getting ready. She captured the two images below.

Such a cool and memorable spot for their ceremony.

It was made mostly of vintage brooches! I loved this idea – she will have it forever now! MA wedding details photographer
One of my favorite moments is below. The bride and her dad danced to Puff the Magic Dragon, a song he sang to Alyssa & her siblings every night while they were growing up. When her sister joined in dancing with them, I might have gotten a little misty.

Alyssa and Tommy, congratulations again on your marriage! Your wedding day was beautiful, and I’m honored to have been there to capture it. You’re both wonderful people, and I wish you all the best for years to come. I’ll end this post with a photo of you two on the dance floor – a perfect end to a perfect night! 🙂MA wedding photographers
