I am heading back to this client’s home this weekend for Colette’s 6 month photos…soooo I promised myself I’d get her newborn session up before then! These are more familiar faces around here, and I love them so. They are some of my original clients, from way back when I started my business, and I will be forever grateful to them for trusting me when I was just starting out, and sticking with me over the years. I love watching their girls grow up, it’s such an honor for me.
I met the M family at their home last summer shortly after Colette was born. I knew I was going to love her nursery, and I was completely right. I can’t wait to show it to you! Big sister Kendall was also around for photos, and was a fantastic helper during our session. We did Colette’s newborn photos at their home, which I love. The kids (now there are two! Ah!) have some time to get comfortable with me in a familiar space to them, and love showing me all of their toys and their room. And it’s easy for someone to take the older sibling off for a break if (when) she gets bored or wants a snack. I always love photographing newborns in a more lifestyle manner, and using their own rooms or parents’ bedroom for the photos. It’s a true reflection of their lives during this time.
