A home family session with my clients is one of my favorite things to photograph. I love seeing where my clients live, seeing what their design taste is like, and using their actual home to help create new memories for them. And when I’m heading to a client’s home who I *know* has fab design taste, it’s all the more exciting. I reunited with this favorite family of mine a year ago (gulp) to photograph their younger daughter’s 6 month photos. They probably look familiar to you if you’ve visited my blog before. I’ve photographed them many times over the years, and it’s always a joy to see everyone again! I went to their home north of Boston for our session. We played in mom and dad’s room, big sister Kendall’s room, and in little Colette’s room, and had a ball. The girls are getting so big, and I loved seeing them interact. Mom and dad were laid back as usual, and let the girls make the decisions on where we went around their home, and what we did (see: jumping on the bed; but only while I was there!). Kendall loved showing me all of her toys and where they displayed the photos I took of her as a baby. It was a fun morning, perfect distraction from all of the snow and freezing weather that was just beyond their walls.
Some of my favorites from their home family session (slash six month photos for Colette) are below. Enjoy!
