You may recognize these two cuties from this relaxed outdoor session. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them many times over the last few years. (And if I stay on top of blogging, you’ll see them later on this year for their holiday photos too!) It’s still crazy to me how quickly kids grow up – my own included. Little E here (the younger sister) was barely walking at our first session! And I remember bringing one of my daughter’s toys for big sister A to play with during our session (a Sophia the First figurine, if I’m remembering correctly)
For this session, mom was looking for a few updated photos for their walls, along with an album. (Note: I love, love, love designing session albums. Ask me if you’d like to see some samples!) We met early one morning at one of my favorite local spots to shoot. It’s a little bit of a hike up into the fields, but the views are so worth it. I let the girls run off and explore, which allows them to relax a bit and not think about posing and smiling so much. We took a short walk around some of the trails and chatted while I worked. It’s always so much fun catching up with clients and hearing about how everyone is doing! The girls are close-ish in age to my kids, so a lot of parenting things are so relatable too. There is never a shortage of topics for us to talk about!
L, it was SO great to see you all again. The girls are wonderful and so sweet, and I always have such a fun time during our sessions! Can’t wait to see you all again soon!
