Hi there! I’m Megan, owner of MeganJane Photography. I am a portrait and wedding photographer living in the Boston suburbs.
Over the years I’ve developed a discerning eye for catching the unspoken connections in my clients. I’m constantly observing, sometimes making suggestions, and always striving to bring out what makes you and your family you. I always look to find what makes your family different from all the other families I photograph – to tell your story, and preserve your unique memories.
When you think your kids are being too rambunctious and aren’t listening – I’m catching them hugging each other and looking up at you grinning from ear to ear.
When you’re wiping a tear away as your daughter walks down the aisle – I see that. (I see her too, don’t worry!)
When your soon-to-be high school graduate is the master of fake smiles, I’m showing off my uncool mom skills and making them laugh for real.
I built my business largely on word of mouth and referrals. If you look through my blog, you’ll see that many of my clients are repeat clients. I greatly value the opportunity to develop ongoing relationships with my clients, and work hard to provide a high level of customer service as well as deliver beautiful custom products.
A self-proclaimed introvert, my favorite place to be is at home. I met my husband in college, and we’ve since grown our family by two, and are the (sometimes embarrassing) parents of Lila (10, loves dance and riding), and Kellan (8, loves snacks and golf). I’m almost always quoting Friends episodes, and trying to persuade my husband into planning our next vacation. A good beer, great friends, and pizza night are some of the little things that make me happy.
