At Home

I love home sessions. I tend to do them more in the colder months, when we’re buried under many feet of snow, and every time I do one, I think “I totally have to do more of these!”. Being outside in the beautiful sunshine (especially at sunset) is so appealing, and I love those sessions too – there’s just something relaxing and memorable about capturing my clients in their homes, surrounded by photos of their loved ones, their kids’ favorite toys, and in a place where everyone is comfortable.

I met this lovely family back in March at their home for a session focusing on their 2 sweet little boys. We built block towers, took wagon rides, had a snack, jumped on mom & dad’s bed, and played in the boys’ rooms – phew! It was so fun getting to know all of them – and it also further cemented my love for home sessions. Below are just some of my favorites from our session.
