Oh, my poor neglected blog! I’ve been so busy the past few months, I haven’t had time to keep up on here. So today, I’m going to start with a session I just totally love, from back in August (eep, August!). Kendall | Boston Newborn Photographer
Kendall’s parents might look familiar to you – I photographed their beautiful wedding reception last summer. 🙂 Now they are parents to this beautiful (and feisty!) little girl, and I am so honored they’ve asked me to photograph her for her whole first year of life! First up is (obviously) her newborn photos. She was 13 days old here, and such a sweetheart. I managed to get her yawning *and* smiling. Melt my heart. Rachel & Brad, it was so great seeing you again! You are wonderful, and little Kendall is just perfect.

My Little Buddy | Ashland MA Childrens Photographer
This little guy has always been one of my favorites (just don’t tell his brother! Who, in all fairness, is my first favorite. :)). I took his newborn photos last October, and he slept – and I mean really SLEPT – for over 3 hours for me. He always gives me the biggest smiles when I see him, and he loves to cuddle. He’s just the sweetest boy! I took these last month, so he’s about 9 months here–still smiling away, and making my job super easy.

I love photographing families in their homes – seeing all of the bits and pieces of what make them tick, and watching them interact with each other in such a comfortable setting just makes for some wonderfully connected photos. I haven’t had much of a chance recently to post photos of Lila. It’s been such a busy summer! I had the chance to head down to the Cape for a couple of days this week with her, so we could visit her grandparents (my parents). I rarely get to shoot at the beach, so I HAD to bring my camera to take a few photos. I met up with this sweet family last month while they were visiting from Alabama. We decided to meet at Capron Park in Attleboro, because it was midway for both of us. Little did I realize just how much there was to do there! Aside from their beautiful lawns and flower gardens, there is a giant playground for the kids, and a ZOO, complete with a splash pad. We waited for the perfect day for this session. Spring and Mother Nature didn’t feel like cooperating for us, but once we finally had the forecast we wanted, boy was it worth it! Deep blue skies with wispy white clouds. Temps in the low 70s, with a beautiful breeze coming off of the water. And the view…well, I think the view speaks for itself.
