Playing with her current favorite toys, her Legos. What you can’t see in this photo, is that there are hundreds of Legos strewn around her on the floor–they are everywhere!!

Catching up on my side project, where has the last month gone! I took the pics on time, but I’ve been a bit busy, so I had to put this on the back burner for a little bit. 🙂 You might think Lila’s playing here…but she’s actually trying to eat the rocks on the playground. This should come as no surprise to those of you who know her.
Rachel & Brad | Hadley Wedding Photographer
Rachel and Brad secretly got married last year, and no one knew about it. At least, not at first. They’d gone and eloped, only telling their families what they were up to. They decided to plan a reception for July 2010, to celebrate with their families and friends. They chose a beautiful outdoor venue in the small town where Rachel grew up. The Young Men’s Club in Hadley, MA provided the perfect backdrop for the reception, with the mountains in the distance, nearby tobacco farms on either side, and wide green fields surrounding a rustic barn-slash-building, complete with white twinkle… Keep reading
Ahhh, September
September already, wow! I feel like just yesterday, we were at our family’s Memorial Day picnic. This is my absolute favorite time of year, so I’m pretty giddy these days. I wanted to get a few updates and reminders out there, as fall is typically my busiest season, both professionally and personally. It’s going to be December before I know it! First up. Now is the time to start thinking about holiday photo sessions and/or holiday cards. I know! It’s crazy. Summer is barely over (actually, these days, it feels like it’s still in full swing, with those scorching temps!),… Keep reading
Summer Love | Boston Engagement Photographer
The girl below may look a little familiar to some of you. 🙂 She’s been on the blog before, as one of my favorite subjects to shoot. And now she’s getting married! I just couldn’t pass up the chance to do some engagement photos for Sara & her fiance Justin, when we were up at Lake Winnepesauke a few weekends ago. Below are some of my faves from the evening. Congrats Sass & Justin, I can’t wait for your wedding!! It’s going to be so. much. fun.
Four | Ashland Maternity Photographer
One of the side effects of being a photographer, is that I am ALWAYS on the lookout for new fun locations to shoot at. I’ll be driving somewhere, and I’ll catch a glimpse of a spot, and start imagining all the different possibilities. There is this one spot that I drive past regularly, and I’ve been DYING to get some photos there around sunset. So I asked my wonderful little sister to come with me for a mini-adventure the other night. She is expecting baby #2 in November, so I thought we’d do some maternity photos around sunset. Below are… Keep reading

A Girl’s Love | Ashland Headshot Photographer
I met D here a couple of weeks ago in downtown Hopkinton to take some headshots for her. She’s active in her local theater, which I think is so fun! I’ve always had the worst stage fright, so I admire anyone who can do that. 🙂 D was so sweet and wonderful, I hated to let them leave our session! I have to say, when D arrived with her mom, and they told her her dog Gracie was in the car, I was SO excited. Of course I had to get some shots with her! D (& D’s mom!), it… Keep reading
