I love these kids. I’ve known them since the twins were newborns, and getting to see them every year is something I always look forward to. They always find amazing locations for us to use for their sessions, this one being no different. We were given permission to use this newly restored barn owned by a friend of theirs, and they also brought the vintage antique truck – it belongs to their grandfather. I love when session “props” hold personal meaning for my clients, it’s a way to truly customize a session and make it completely unique. Now, shooting a session… Keep reading

Colette | MA Newborn Session
I am heading back to this client’s home this weekend for Colette’s 6 month photos…soooo I promised myself I’d get her newborn session up before then! These are more familiar faces around here, and I love them so. They are some of my original clients, from way back when I started my business, and I will be forever grateful to them for trusting me when I was just starting out, and sticking with me over the years. I love watching their girls grow up, it’s such an honor for me. I met the M family at their home last summer… Keep reading
Ben is One!
You might recognize this adorable family, as they’ve been on this blog before. I’ve been photographing them for the last year (pretend it’s August for me, ok? 🙂 ), and have blogged those sessions. We have done maternity photos, and Ben’s newborn and six month photos, before this session. It’s always so great when I get to see clients again, and catch up with their lives – and see how big the little ones are getting! There’s just such a sense of ease with my repeat clients, and I love that. We met up in Dedham at Dog Park for their… Keep reading
Madeleine
I’m not even going to tell you how late I am in blogging this. I’ll just swoon over Madeleine’s nursery and her beautiful little face instead. I met up with this lovely family at their home for baby Madeleine’s newborn session. She was a tiny little peanut, and barely made a peep the entire time, such a sweet girl. Her nursery – talk about gorgeous! Mom did all of the decorating, and she just did an amazing job. It was light, bright, and just perfect. I loved how she included personal touches – like the gold frames you’ll see below… Keep reading
2014: Personal
I know I promised my personal favorites from 2014 a few days ago…I wanted to edit some of the more recent photos I hadn’t gotten to first. 🙂 In many ways, 2014 was a challenging year on a personal level. We had extended family health issues, our 3 year old was diagnosed with celiac disease, both kids started new schools, my husband left his long-time job and started at a new company – just quite a few larger life-moments than we were anticipating. I have a feeling that that’s life from here on out! All that said, we had a… Keep reading
2014: Let’s Shake
Anyone else either obsessed with the new Taylor Swift album, or have a little one who is? My daughter has been walking around the house for a month now singing songs from 1989, and they are constantly stuck in my head. Don’t get me wrong, I love the record too…but mini-me loves it just a smidge (read: a whole lot) more. In the past, I have done a whole week of favorite images from my sessions during that year. Christmas sort of snuck up on me this year, we “missed out” on a whole weekend because Thanksgiving was pretty much… Keep reading
G Family
It’s been almost a month since I’ve blogged…where has the time gone! The past five weeks have been the busiest…maybe ever…for me. So I’m a busy bee over here behind the scenes, getting all of your galleries edited and uploaded. I wanted to take a quick break from editing (quick, I promise!), to share a recent session with you. Well, if August counts as recent. 🙂 I met up with this lovely family at Bourne Farm in Falmouth back in August. They are one of those families where you meet, and just start talking and don’t stop. I felt like… Keep reading
Wendy & Sean
Continuing my trend of actually blogging – even during busy season! That’s right, it’s officially my busy season around here. (Not complaining – I’m excited to see so many of you in the next couple of months!) So I’m going to keep my words short – you’re really here for the photos mainly anyway, right?? – so I can get back to my editing list. Wendy and Sean were married earlier this year at the Spring Valley Country Club in Sharon, MA. The weather was amazing, the grounds of the country club were beautiful, and the staff there did a… Keep reading
Four
You’ll very likely recognize this family – I’ve known them for years, and have been photographing their amazing family since their wedding reception back in 2010! When Rach emailed me to tell me their exciting news about adding another member to their family, I was thrilled I’d get to spend more time with them. We met up for maternity photos way back in June, and I love, love, love the matching floral crowns that Rach & her daughter wore for part of their session (thank you, Wild Folk Studio!). I had to include the last set – we were just… Keep reading
Sisters
This year was a wonderfully big year for some of my dearest friends – well, family. But friends. Loved ones? Whatever you want to call them, I love them. These beautiful ladies are my cousins, and we’ve stayed pretty close throughout the years, despite not living near each other, and all of us having insanely ridiculous work/family/school schedules. My cousins have had an eventful year, and I am BEYOND thrilled to be able to be their official (ok, unofficial) event photographer, and have spent more time than usual (YAY!) with them this year. One of those big events that happened earlier… Keep reading
