This little peanut here, Elsa, holds a special place in my heart. I had the honor of meeting her a couple of days after she had just gotten home from a short NICU stay for a fever, and you know how I am about NICU babies. I shared our story with her sweet family once I found out about her first few days – you knew I would! I have such a soft spot for these little fighters. I just know that their strong character is going to take them places. Elsa’s family was just wonderful during her session. Proof… Keep reading

Lee & Patrick
I really have the best clients – I do. It sounds so cliche, but these two are yet another testament to this. Lee & Patrick are getting married later this year, and I am going to be photographing their wedding just north of Boston. They are two of the sweetest people, and I just know that their wedding is going to be so much fun! We met up in downtown Boston on a cold March day earlier this year for some engagement photos. I didn’t realize that we picked the Saturday of St. Patrick’s Day weekend for our session…and there… Keep reading
Braving It
I wanted to share this next session I did while there was still some snow on the ground. Ok, a lot of snow. But we didn’t really want to show the snow. D wanted to have some updated headshots done (you can see her last set of headshots I did a couple of years ago here – time flies, sheesh!), so we worked around the snow. D was seriously such a superstar – it was BARELY 30 degrees out, and the wind was blowing pretty nicely that day. And yet…well, you’ll see. She’s awesome. She’s going places – and I… Keep reading
The Best Job
It’s also the hardest one I’ve ever had. I just wanted to say Happy Mother’s Day to all of you amazing moms out there who are reading! Your love for your little ones shines during our sessions, and is apparent in the way your kids look at you. That’s your doing, not my fancy camera or a skill I’ve learned. I’m just the lucky on who gets to be there to capture it for forever. So thank you, for trusting me with your moments, they are treasures! I hope you all have a beautiful Mother’s Day, spent exactly how you’d… Keep reading
julia
I had the good fortune of meeting this sweet little girl and her family back in January. I met them at their home, as is typical with all of my newborn sessions, and they couldn’t have been more welcoming. Julia was a great sleeper the entire time, she barely made a peep. Big sister G was so loving and careful with her, she was amazing! This entire family was just wonderful. I always love when I click with new clients, and this family was no exception. Below are just a few of my favorites from their newborn/family session. Thank you so… Keep reading
Marathon 2013
I wasn’t sure I was going to blog anything about this, but I can’t stop thinking about it, so I have decided to put it out there. Most of you know what happened yesterday in Boston. In my city. The Boston Marathon is the heart of our city. Patriots Day is the most anticipated holiday of the year for many of us. We’ve been at the Finish Line, we’ve gone to the Red Sox game and cheered the runners on at Mile 25 afterwards, we’ve stood on Heartbreak Hill and yelled words of encouragement. We revel in this day as… Keep reading
In the South End
This lovely family came to me via referral from these guys, some of my favorite people. I met them at their home in the South End back before Christmas for their family session. Their little guy was just turning one, and couldn’t have been cuter! They had a great roof deck with a view of the skyline, so we had to head up there for a few shots – it was pretty chilly, so we didn’t stay long. I just loved their neighborhood, and I was a big fan of the whale on little W’s bedroom wall, too cute. Below are just… Keep reading
Rory | One
This little man (you can see his newborn photos here, and six month photos here) is another one of my Year One clients. I can not tell you how much I LOVE watching these little babies grow over that first year. It is such a privilege for me to be able to capture milestones for my clients, and being there during their baby’s first year is amazing. Every visit is full of questions, me asking what they’re doing, saying, if they’re walking, how they’re napping. Babies change SO much during that first year, and I couldn’t be any more honored… Keep reading
Pam & Mark
Pam and Mark are getting married this September out in the Berkshires at Tanglewood, a place near and dear to my heart. When Pam initially reached out to me, and told me where the wedding would be, I don’t think I could have replied any faster. I can not WAIT for their wedding this fall, it’s going to be amazing. I met up with them back in December for their engagement session. We met where Mark proposed to Pam, in Rockport, MA. I’d never been up to Rockport before, and I immediately fell in love! What an adorable, quintessential New England… Keep reading
Babies!
There were quite a few little ones born in my family last fall & winter. Instead of bombarding you with separate posts for them all, I thought I’d just share a few of my favorites. My sister & her family welcomed a baby girl named Josie (her third girl, if you’re keeping track!) in October. My sister in law had a baby boy named Andrew in December, and my baby brother and his wife had their first baby, little Owen, in January. I did maternity and newborn photos for everyone – I love being able to do this for them. Hopefully I’m not… Keep reading
