One Year | Melrose MA Children’s Photographer

I can not believe that this little guy is already one. This past year went by in the blink of an eye, I swear! I went to Melrose to meet up with one of my favorite families to take some photos of B, and just so happened to be there on his birthday! With the wet and unpredictable weather we’ve been having this spring, mom and I jumped at moving their session to a date that was just “mostly cloudy”, instead of “rain showers”, which is pretty much how every other day this month has been. 🙂 Here are just… Keep reading

7 Months | Ashland MA Children’s Photographer

I can’t believe how quickly this little guy grew! He’s already seven months old! And quite possibly, one of the easiest little subjects I’ve ever photographed. All smiles, big brown eyes, and loving the camera. I love it! I just had to share some of these before the weekend hits us, I couldn’t wait. 🙂 TGIF! Someone loves his mommy. 🙂 Then he found Sophie. It was all over at this point, he needed to give his teeth a little workout. These are my faves, as I’m sure you can guess. 🙂

Old Friends | Wakefield MA Family Photographer

I went to high school with the mom of this lovely family. When her mom got in touch with me about gifting a session to her daughter for their anniversary, I jumped at the chance to catch up with my old friend. See, I consider myself supremely lucky to grow up where I did. Sure, at the time I took it all for granted, and was the typical whiny teenager. “Mom, there’s nothing to dooo!” “I’m bored!” “I can’t wait to get out of this place!” Looking back these past few years, I realized my good fortune at growing up… Keep reading

7|52 Signs of Spring

I'm probably jinxing us with 6 more snow storms by even using that title, but I just can' t help i t. It's been a LONG winter. It's almost 60 degrees out today, if not warmer. The heat is off. The windows are open. The sun is shining, and oh boy, does it feel amazing. The playgroup girls (minus one, who is sick, poor thing!) came over here this morning, and we went splash in some puddles created by the melting snow. Lila was SOAKED, and having the time of her life. (And yes, I stuffed her into a too-small… Keep reading

A Few Months Later | Melrose Family Photographer

I got to see some of my favorite clients recently, I love being able to catch up with everyone! C & B are both so big, and SO cute. Miss C just turned two back in September (I think–or was it October? Mom, help me out!), and is just a little spitfire. Mr. B is so mellow, he just hung out and watched us all run around. Mom & dad were great sports about going outside for a few shots, it was pretty chilly out! You’d never know it the way C was trying to get her coat off, and… Keep reading

I don’t often post twice in the same day, but I had to get this one up too–this is last week’s 52 Weeks photo. THIS week is almost over, so I had to get caught up! I have this week’s photo also, but I’ll wait a day or two. 🙂 This might be one of the last shots of just “the girls”–a different set of girls than I wrote about earlier today. This is Lila and her cousin G. G’s mom (my little sister) is due in a couple of weeks with a new baby brother or sister for G!… Keep reading

Five | Berkshires Family Photographer

I consider myself supremely lucky to have stayed close with some of the friends I made a VERY long time ago. These girls have known me my entire life. They KNOW know me. I have realized how rare this is to have friendships like this, and I truly treasure it. We all have children of our own now, and one of my favorite things in the world is watching our kids play together. It’s so crazy to see how far we’ve come. With the exception of one of “the girls”, they ALL have BOYS. Between us, we have 11 kids…. Keep reading

Another shot that I think might leave most people thinking “huh”? 🙂 I took this shot of Lila coloring in the living room, reflected in a photo frame we have hanging in our back hallway. She is obsessed with coloring, to put it mildly. It’ s the fir st thing she asks for when she wakes up, and the last thing she asks for before bed. If she’d just stop eating the crayons and coloring on my windows, coffee table, and couches, she could color 24/7.
