Paula & Chris are getting married later on this year, so we met up last summer for their engagement photo session. We had been going back and forth all day, as there were storms rolling through – you know exactly the kind I’m talking about. Afternoon summer thunderstorms, so typical for New England. Fast moving, but torrential and slightly terrifying to watch come through. The day was beyond hot and muggy, like breathing through a wet towel. The sky was looking ominous off in the distance, and the radar couldn’t keep up. Since they were driving to meet me from… Keep reading

K&K
I shot engagement photos for these two fabulous people last fall, so we could take advantage of the beautiful fall we were having. Their session was another instance of me testing out a couple of new locations, with great results. I’ve said it before, but I just love finding new spots to shoot around here. Especially when I have such willing and adventurous subjects! I can be a little bit of a chicken when scouting locations – visions of creepy bugs, wild animals and ticks are always in my head – so when I get two people so comfortable being… Keep reading
2014: Let’s Shake
Anyone else either obsessed with the new Taylor Swift album, or have a little one who is? My daughter has been walking around the house for a month now singing songs from 1989, and they are constantly stuck in my head. Don’t get me wrong, I love the record too…but mini-me loves it just a smidge (read: a whole lot) more. In the past, I have done a whole week of favorite images from my sessions during that year. Christmas sort of snuck up on me this year, we “missed out” on a whole weekend because Thanksgiving was pretty much… Keep reading
2013 Favorites: Weddings
And a few engagement photos too. As you may know, I photograph a few weddings each year with my lovely friend Sarah over at Sarah & Meg. We have been bad bloggers over there this year, and I am ever so slightly (read: a whole lot) OCD about being organized, so I wanted to post my favorite wedding and engagement images here on my regular blog, with all of my other favorites from this year. Weddings are some of my favorite events to photograph – the anticipation, the emotion, the cake. 😉 Being a part of such an important day… Keep reading
Lee & Patrick
I really have the best clients – I do. It sounds so cliche, but these two are yet another testament to this. Lee & Patrick are getting married later this year, and I am going to be photographing their wedding just north of Boston. They are two of the sweetest people, and I just know that their wedding is going to be so much fun! We met up in downtown Boston on a cold March day earlier this year for some engagement photos. I didn’t realize that we picked the Saturday of St. Patrick’s Day weekend for our session…and there… Keep reading
Pam & Mark
Pam and Mark are getting married this September out in the Berkshires at Tanglewood, a place near and dear to my heart. When Pam initially reached out to me, and told me where the wedding would be, I don’t think I could have replied any faster. I can not WAIT for their wedding this fall, it’s going to be amazing. I met up with them back in December for their engagement session. We met where Mark proposed to Pam, in Rockport, MA. I’d never been up to Rockport before, and I immediately fell in love! What an adorable, quintessential New England… Keep reading
Summer Love | Boston Engagement Photographer
The girl below may look a little familiar to some of you. 🙂 She’s been on the blog before, as one of my favorite subjects to shoot. And now she’s getting married! I just couldn’t pass up the chance to do some engagement photos for Sara & her fiance Justin, when we were up at Lake Winnepesauke a few weekends ago. Below are some of my faves from the evening. Congrats Sass & Justin, I can’t wait for your wedding!! It’s going to be so. much. fun.

Loving the see-saw at the park!
DeAna & Philippe: Because
DeAna and Philippe two were brave, brave souls to meet up with me outside in February. I think the temperature I saw on a billboard on my way into the city this cold Saturday morning said 25 degrees, without the windchill. Oh yes, you read that right! Good thing we conveniently picked a location that allowed us to run inside and warm up at any moment — Faneuil Hall. Another bonus to meeting there early on a Saturday morning? No crowds! I don’t think I’ ve e ver see it so empty there. We first started inside the Marketplace, to… Keep reading
Back Where It All Begins | Concord Engagement Photographer
Another gorgeous fall day in New England, a perfect setting to this recent engagement session. I met C & B up at the Old North Bridge in Concord, MA, to capture some late afternoon golden light. This area holds a lot of meaning to them, and made for the perfect setting to mark this new chapter in their lives. We dodged the crowds of other people who also thought it was the perfect day for some leaf-peeping and visiting some historic landmarks, and had a blast doing so. I think I laughed through the entire session! This was no surprise… Keep reading
