Sunset

Familiar faces – you know these people. They’ve been on here plenty of times. Mom is my sister, so that makes these three adorable blondies my nieces. They live about 2 miles from us, and I don’t know what I’d do without them around. We went to a new location for their photos this year, and totally lucked out – sunset in this spot is amazing! I can’t wait to go back more this year, if the snow ever melts. It’s what I would call an unpredictable location – you never know what the ground condition will be, and the… Keep reading

At Home

I try to pick a weekend every fall to head back to where I grew up out in Western MA, in the Berkshires. Aside from the obvious perks of visiting home, being with my family, and just relaxing, I will also pick up a session or two for friends who still live out there. Last year I had the great timing of going home on a weekend when this family was also going to be around, so we set up a session! Unfortunately for us, the weather that weekend was beyond awful – forecasted steady, pouring rain. The. Entire. Time…. Keep reading

Early Fall

I am on a roll lately, aren’t I? I must admit, I am loving going back through last fall’s sessions, and blogging them. It’s fun to pick out my favorites and remember getting to meet or catch up with everyone. Next up, another repeat client. (Seriously. All of my repeat clients, you are so great. I love seeing you!) This time we met up at their home for their session – mostly focused on the kids, but they wanted a few family shots also. Mom and I chatted a few times before the session, and I had mentioned that I… Keep reading

Colette | MA Newborn Session

I am heading back to this client’s home this weekend for Colette’s 6 month photos…soooo I promised myself I’d get her newborn session up before then! These are more familiar faces around here, and I love them so. They are some of my original clients, from way back when I started my business, and I will be forever grateful to them for trusting me when I was just starting out, and sticking with me over the years. I love watching their girls grow up, it’s such an honor for me. I met the M family at their home last summer… Keep reading

Ben is One!

You might recognize this adorable family, as they’ve been on this blog before. I’ve been photographing them for the last year (pretend it’s August for me, ok? 🙂 ), and have blogged those sessions. We have done maternity photos, and Ben’s newborn and six month photos, before this session. It’s always so great when I get to see clients again, and catch up with their lives – and see how big the little ones are getting! There’s just such a sense of ease with my repeat clients, and I love that. We met up in Dedham at Dog Park for their… Keep reading

G Family

It’s been almost a month since I’ve blogged…where has the time gone! The past five weeks have been the busiest…maybe ever…for me. So I’m a busy bee over here behind the scenes, getting all of your galleries edited and uploaded. I wanted to take a quick break from editing (quick, I promise!), to share a recent session with you. Well, if August counts as recent. 🙂 I met up with this lovely family at Bourne Farm in Falmouth back in August. They are one of those families where you meet, and just start talking and don’t stop. I felt like… Keep reading

Four

You’ll very likely recognize this family – I’ve known them for years, and have been photographing their amazing family since their wedding reception back in 2010! When Rach emailed me to tell me their exciting news about adding another member to their family, I was thrilled I’d get to spend more time with them. We met up for maternity photos way back in June, and I love, love, love the matching floral crowns that Rach & her daughter wore for part of their session (thank you, Wild Folk Studio!). I had to include the last set – we were just… Keep reading

Spring Light

I met up with the lovely R family back in May at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline. It was a beautiful spring day, and the flowers on the trees were just starting to bloom – it made for such a pretty backdrop! The camera loved Miss A, who was about 8 months old at the time of our session – and I think the feeling was mutual! Below are just a few of my favorites from their family session. Thank you guys so much for getting in touch with me, it was just wonderful meeting all of you! I hope… Keep reading

John

I love this session. Between my amazing clients, their beautiful home, and their love for one another, I could have stayed all day. I met this lovely family at their home in Chestnut Hill once their new little boy was born, and we hung out for the morning. We were able to incorporate both lifestyle images (my fave!) with some sweet and simple posed shots once John fell asleep. Their family dog was so adorable, and laid by my feet for most of the posed photos, making sure I was on my best behavior with their new addition. Big sister… Keep reading

Almost Five

For this post, anyway. The little one in mama’s belly has since arrived, so they are officially a family of five now! You will likely recognize some of my favorite people here, who are expecting a new addition to their family! And since they made us wait to find out what babe number three was, I’m making you. 😛 We did some maternity photos back in April at their home. The photos on their bed are some of my favorites ever – these little boys crack me up without fail every time I see them. I used to get hugs… Keep reading
