This little man (you can see his newborn photos here, and six month photos here) is another one of my Year One clients. I can not tell you how much I LOVE watching these little babies grow over that first year. It is such a privilege for me to be able to capture milestones for my clients, and being there during their baby’s first year is amazing. Every visit is full of questions, me asking what they’re doing, saying, if they’re walking, how they’re napping. Babies change SO much during that first year, and I couldn’t be any more honored… Keep reading

Connected
This session was one of my favorites from last year. We actually shot the session the day before Hurricane Sandy was due to come into town. I was hoping the rain would hold off, as it had for my earlier session, but no such luck. Rain and winds welcomed me as I opened my car door and walked/was pushed by the wind down to their home. We did most of their session inside, in their living room and bedrooms, and went outside at the end since the rain had stopped for a few minutes. What draws me to sessions like… Keep reading
G at the Park
I met little G here at the Boston Public Garden with her parents, way back in October. We weren’t sure what the weather would be doing, and it turned out to be a gorgeous day! I rarely am able to get into the city these days, just with life being busy, so I was so happy to be able to do this. G was so sweet and silly during our session, we loved watching her take in all of her surroundings. The Public Garden sure makes for some fabulous people (and squirrel!) watching! Below are just a few of my… Keep reading
The H Family
Ok, time to get blogging all of my fall sessions! I’m starting with one of my favorites from last year – I kind of wanted to move in with this family. The kids were absolutely wonderful, and I just loved mom & dad. I met them at their home to start, and then we headed out to their neighbor’s nearby horse farm (!!!) for photos. I had NO idea places like this existed near me, and I am now plotting to move my family and our local “crew” to a couple of towns over. It was such a beautiful area,… Keep reading
2012 Favorites: Families
I love my family session clients. I have a LOT of repeat clients, as you will see today and tomorrow (fave kids images). I get a little attached to you all – I just love catching up with families, watching the little ones grow up, it’s one of my favorite things about my job. It’s such an honor for me to be included in your lives, even if only for a little while. I tried to keep this someone respectable in length…but it’s pretty long. And I had to curb myself a LOT here. I still have a few sessions… Keep reading
The H Family
Happy Monday! I wanted to share this sweet family session from October with you today. This family was just so wonderful! I met them at their home in Concord for their session. I think mom did a fabulous job styling their outfits – I loved the overall look! This is a great example for all of my family clients who ask me what to wear for their session. The colors are coordinating, but not super matchy, and she used prints, texture, and layers awesomely (it is so a word!). It was truly a lovely fall afternoon, I loved meeting this… Keep reading
The O Family
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I can’t believe it’s almost December already, it feels like we were at swim lessons yesterday. I wanted to start off this week with one of my favorite families. If you’ve been following my work for a while now, you’ll immediately recognize them. And I believe I’ve already professed my love for them (here, to name one), so I’m going to keep my words short on this one. I just love getting to see these guys a few times a year, I wish it were more! (But no, Coll, we’re not planning a… Keep reading
Boys
As you probably know, I’m new to this “mom of boys” business. Kellan just turned one (I have photos! Promise!), and I’m getting used to the chaos that comes with having boys. The lack of caring about being dirty, the rough and tumble wrestling that happens in my living room (yes, even at one, Kellan can hold his own with his big sister!), and the sweetness. That’s the killer for me. One grin from him, and he can have anything he wants. Anyway, this post isn’t about me! I did photos for this wonderful family here back in September, during… Keep reading
Kendall
Seriously. WHERE has the past year gone. Kendall is ONE now. (Well, she was in August. Pretend it’s August for me.) I approached this session with equal amounts excitement and sadness – I was excited to see how big Kendall had gotten, and what she is doing these days, but also so sad because she’s “graduated” from my Baby Plan! SOB! Can you tell I get attached to my clients friends? It’s hard not to when you’re all so wonderful. Anyway, I met Rachel, Brad & Kendall at their new place in Somerville, and we headed over to a nearby park… Keep reading
Maya
Before I bombard you with fall photo sessions (because that’s coming, as soon as I get some sessions edited!), I wanted to share this adorable little girl, Maya. I met up with Maya and her parents out in Western MA back in July for her one year photos. Maya is so quietly sweet, and curious about everything! Maya was a little superstar during her session, and I just love her outfits. It was a beautiful day, so we took full advantage of the hot summer sun! Below are just a few of my favorites…I’d probably post the entire session if… Keep reading
