You’re getting a bonus image today. 🙂 I couldn’t decide between these two images I took of Lila yesterday at the park. We go to the park pretty much every day lately. It’s within walking distance from our house, and the perfect way to spend time between her nap and dinner. These were both taken “from the hip”, meaning, I wasn’t looking through the viewfinder. I had the camera down by my side as I walked ahead of Lila, and snapped away as we walked.

We’ve had a bit of an early welcome to summer this year, so I have already broken out the water table a few times. Lila LOVES playing with it, and can be soaked in a matter of seconds. 🙂 I will have to post some more from this day once I edit them, because I’m totally in love w ith her bathing su it, it is SO cute.

Just misbehaving at her grandparents’ house! We were there this past weekend visiting, and had a blast. Lila LOVED all the attention and being able to do things that don’t normally fly at home (like hang out on the stairs to the 2nd floor…).

I’m behind on posting my project, so wanted to get this one, and the next one up asap! This is my typical kid: being a clown. It’s not ALL drama around here, she’s a total goofball, and loves making us laugh.
Marathon Monday
When my husband and I were younger, and living in Boston, one of the best days of the year (second maybe only to St. Paddy’s Day in Southie) was Patriots Day. We would get up “early” (early for a 24 year old, anyway), and head over to the Fenway Park area, to one of the surrounding bars that was open for “breakfast”. We’d end up meeting a bunch of friends, and would all hang out until we had to leave for the Sox game. 13|52 New Friends
This week’s image comes from a playdate Lila and I had earlier this week. Lila and I both made new friends, it was awesome! I always love meeting other photographers, and getting to talk shop for a bit. It’s even more fun watching my daughter interact with other kids. Here, the girls were holding onto the gate (we have a brand new walker, and an almost walker here), and “dancing”. We weren’t playing music, they were just feeding off of each other, and being super goofy. It was hilarious to watch, and filled my heart with joy.

I know, I’m still behind. 🙂 Here is last week’s photo. I took it on Saturday, when we were at my inlaws’ house for the weekend. This is our daughter with her grandfather. He just LOVES her, and the feeling is mutual. She was such a ham all weekend, and loved seeing her grandparents.

I totally forgot to post my weekly image last week! I took this last week, so it does count–we’ll just forget that I’m late in posting it, ok. 🙂 This is a look I imagine I’ll be seeing a LOT of in the years to come.
