You guys HAVE to recognize these kiddos by now, my annual NH family session favorites! They were some of my very first clients, and now I’ve been photographing them for eight years. Eight! They are all cousins – boy/girl on each side. Two of them are twins, and the other two are…not. Haha, that isn’t a very eloquent explanation! Anyway, I travel up to NH each fall to catch up and do photos. I love going up to NH because it’s somewhere new to me, where I’m not photographing very often. They also have the coolest spots for our sessions – not that I could direct you to any of them! I’m not known for my sense of direction, especially not in the woods of New Hampshire.
The weather was being typical New England this day. There was rain for much of the morning and early afternoon, so we were all unsure if we should go ahead or not. We ultimately decided to go for it, and we ended up lucking out with some pretty decent light! I think the weather around here is one of the trickiest things to work around. Even today for example, was super gray and overcast all day. Clouds appeared around an hour before sunset, and sure enough, the sky looked amazing. So we have all learned to roll with the weather the best we can.
Have I mentioned the dogs yet? I’ve photographed Bailey (the white pup) for a couple of years now, one of the best behaved dogs ever. This time, I got to meet Penny. And just LOOK how amazing they were! So well behaved and sweet, and the kids were wonderful with them.
Below are just a few of my favorites from their NH family session. Guys, it was amazing to catch up, as always! Thank you so much for meeting up, I can’t wait to see you again!
