Personal post ahead! And it’s image-heavy. You’ve been warned. 🙂
I don’t post personal things on here often, but thought I’d share some of my favorite images from our recent trip to Disney World. This was our third trip with kids (well, only Lila the first year), and we love how easy Disney makes things. I’ll spare you all of my usual rambling and get right to the photos, but feel free to ask me any questions in the comments section, or email me, I’m happy to share our trip specifics.
We did end up at urgent care, with each kid, 5 days apart, both for ear infections. Thank goodness for amoxicillin!
Lila’s treat for being brave and a great patient at urgent care. She wore this every single day we were there…
Inside the new Be Our Guest restaurant – it was super dark, but if you look carefully, you can see it’s snowing “outside” the windows.
I swear, it was empty when I gave it to him. 🙂
We met alllll of the characters, some multiple times. These are just a couple of the cuter/funnier ones.
We were able to meet up with some friends while visiting, and Kellan might have a little crush on someone now.
Lila & Lylah, 2 years later. Love these girls.
Big sisters are such fun sometimes…
We also ran into friends from home who were also on vacation when we were. It was so fun to hang out – made me want to plan a big friends trip with all of our kids! Lila’s favorite ride. Kellan wasn’t impressed.
Urgent care trips aside, it was a great vacation! If only we’d timed it for during all of this snow, instead of just before it. I’m ready for spring!
Maybe I will just have to invite you along as our personal photographer when we bring the girls for the first time, because these are gorgeous! Looks like so much fun. I seriously can’t wait to plan a trip, so please email any and all tips my way! We’re thinking next year.
i have a disney question for you. what lens(es) do you bring? i love all of these. we’re going back in september. trying to get my whole family to come. it’ll be a surprise for the kids. i’m so excited! 🙂
I mainly used the 24-70 for everything. Some of the shots of the castle were taken on our balcony w/ the 70-200, but I never brought that to the park. I MIGHT have used the 50 1.4 for a couple of shots, but I can’t remember. If you don’t have the 24-70, I’d recommend it for the trip! 🙂 Have so much fun, the kids are going to be so excited!
