A little Christmas in August? Why not! I meant to blog this session ages ago, and now that I’ll be seeing this wonderful family again as their little girl turns one in a few months, I wanted to do it asap. ONE! I’ve been the world’s worst blogger this year, it’s official.
I tend to have a lot of at-home sessions in the winter. For obvious reasons. Winter is typically my busy time for newborns, but I usually have a few other family sessions too. I don’t find too many people are dying to get outside in below zero temps and 18 feet of snow! (Yes, I’m exaggerating on the snow, but it sure felt like that last winter!)
I met up with the sweet K family back in December at their home. Their brand new daughter Eve was *the* sweetest little girl, and a great sleeper. Another bonus to newborn sessions is that weather typically isn’t a factor – perfect for us this day, as it was pouring and freezing out. So we turned up the heat in Eve’s nursery and in her parents’ room, and had an adorably cozy session. Make sure you check out Eve’s fun travel-themed nursery details, I loved them.
