Karianne & Kenny’s Jackson, NH wedding was a weekend to remember, that’s for sure. It totally counts if I get this blogged before their first anniversary, right? Please say yes.
Last fall, I made Meg, one of my favorite friends (who also happens to be a super talented photographer – funny how that worked out, ha) fly across the country to photograph this wedding with me. We had photographed Kenny’s sister Kerri’s wedding to Andrew in 2014, so it was only right to have Meg come back for this one. She’s part of the family now! We road tripped up to Jackson NH for a weekend-long celebration of Karianne and Kenny. Almost all of the wedding party and guests were staying right at the Eagle Mountain House, where everything was happening. In addition to the wedding day itself, these two organized hikes, golf outings, a welcome barbecue, a day after brunch, and I heard rumors of a post-wedding campfire as well. The details these two put into the weekend; the signs, AMAZING florals, personal touches – it was incredible. They thought of everything.
Weddings are always fun for me to photograph in general. But tie in an actual giant cupcake display, an amazing band, and talented friends who know how to serenade like nobody’s business, and well, my face was in pain from smiling and laughing so much. I haven’t even mentioned the secret getaway to a nearby creek yet either. It was non-stop inspiration all weekend.
Karianne & Kenny, I can’t tell you how honored I am to have been there for such an unforgettable weekend. Thank you so much for having me (and Meg!). We love you guys! And we’ll just pretend this was posted about 8 months ago, right? 🙂
