Fall photos for these boys. Again. They love it. I’m still not sure how they are all this old already, because in my mind, they are still the newborns I first laid eyes on just last week. It is crazy unfair how quickly time moves when it comes to kids and their milestones. Things happen so fast – all of those cliches about time? They’re true. It’s heart-bursting and wonderful and heart-breaking all at the same time.
Oldest brother J once napped on me in the middle of the mall, 2 days before my daughter was born. The middle brother there, O? He slept like a CHAMPION for his newborn photos. For hours and hours. I told mom to go catch up on her DVR while I did his photos. And baby brother M can certainly hold his own with his big brothers – this kid’s hair was a marvel as a newborn. Dark at the roots, and bright blond at the tips. The random details that I remember!
We have probably done photos all over our little town at this point, but we managed to pick somewhere new this time. Somewhere covered in poison ivy, as their dad nicely pointed out. OOPS. Thankfully these were fall photos, and everyone was wearing boots and pants, so we just were extra careful where we walked. I wanted to bring them to this woodsy spot that I love, because I knew the trees would be a super fun (and new to them) background. We started off with photos of just the boys, because I knew I had limited time with their attention. I mean, have you ever asked 3 boys to sit still and look at you for more than like 10 minutes at a time?
Below are just a few of my favorites from this year’s fall photos. G fam, I love you guys. You’re never allowed to move away, you hear?
